Nature
The Barthes of Saubusse are wetlands shaped by flooding from the Adour and are home to animal and plant life typical of this habitat. They provide a habitat for horses, great egrets, herons and storks.
The “Circuit de la grande barthe” is a 9 km-long, moderately difficult circular hiking trail with an average duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, starting in Saubusse. It runs along the Adour for almost five kilometres and also follows the Ruisseau de l'Esté. Numerous Barthais horses and a diverse bird population are described in this area.
Culture
The Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Saubusse was built between the beginning of the 13th and the 15th century. The harmonium in the church is considered the oldest harmonium recorded in the Landes département.
The Pont Saint-Jean is a seven-arched bridge that has connected the two banks of the Adour since the end of the 19th century.

The “Circuit du quartier thermal” in Saubusse combines the discovery of the natural heritage of the Barthes with that of the built heritage. As a circular hiking trail, it is 11.3 km long, moderately difficult and has an average duration of 3 hours; this trail also starts in Saubusse.
Spa town
The Saubusse spa is supplied by the hot spring La Raja, whose water is stated to have a temperature of 39°C. The massage landaise at the spa combines a body scrub with a massage under a ramp delivering thermal water at 38°C; it is made using corn cobs and cotton flowers.
The Saubusse spa can be reached via the A63, exit 3, or the A64, exit 6; the indicated road connections then continue towards Saubusse.
