In Saint-Martin-de-Seignanx, the Château de Saint-Martin is listed as a historic monument. Its grand staircase with painted decoration is considered one of the most outstanding achievements of regional classical architecture. The château combines a western wing with two towers rebuilt around 1600 and a pavilion containing the monumental staircase, which is part of a renovation project begun around 1650.
The Villa Saint-Jean, including its furnishings, outbuilding and garden, is fully listed as a historic monument. It was remodelled between 1926 and 1930 and combines the architectural style of the houses of Labourd with Spanish and modern influences.

Nature
Le Jardin buissonnier is a 2.5-hectare natural site between the wetlands of the Barthes de l’Adour and a forest on the slopes. Visitors can discover pond information cubes about the life cycle of dragonflies and amphibians, a barefoot trail, flower beds, a heathland area, a vegetable garden and information about forest ecology.
On the Les Coteaux de Riston route, black alders, pedunculate oaks, chestnut trees and maritime pines can be observed. The route offers views of traditional houses typical of the Barthes de l’Adour, natural and wetland areas.
The CPIE is located at the d’Arremont site, amid 4.5 hectares of meadows, gardens and a wooded park.
At the observatory of the Lesgau reserve, the crane is particularly present from December to February.
Trails and Activities
The Les Croque Chemins association offers hiking, Nordic walking, snowshoeing and health walks in Saint-Martin-de-Seignanx. It organises half-day and full-day hikes, weekend tours and multi-day excursions.
The Les Barthes de Saint-Martin route is an easy, 4-kilometre hiking trail marked in blue.
Saint-Martin-de-Seignanx has several circular hiking routes and a cycle network that connects the town centre with the new district, runs along the Adour and provides access to the Vélodyssée and the voie verte along the maritime Adour to Rivière.

The Marché de Saint-Martin-de-Seignanx takes place on Saturday mornings and has around twenty stalls offering regional produce and international cuisine.
FERM’AVENIR is a farm shop in Saint-Martin-de-Seignanx where nine farmers from the south of the Landes département, Béarn and the Basque Country combine their produce and expertise.
