In Ondres, Pulse Surf Coaching offers surfing courses and coaching sessions all year round for all experience levels, from beginners to experts. Ondres Beach is supervised during the summer season.

Haras des Plages offers horseback or pony rides near Ondres Beach, including approximately one-hour rides through the forest and approximately two-hour tours combining forest and beach. In the immediate vicinity of Ondres are Plage d'Ondres, a beach, and Plage du Métro, a beach.

Cycle Paths and Nature

The Vélodyssée passes through Ondres and is supplemented there by approximately 8 kilometres of greenways and shared paths. At Étang du Turc, a very easy 1.4-kilometre nature trail runs along the pond. Small information panels along the trail explain the area.

The “Forêt de pins 9 km–Ondres–Circuit jaune” circular route is easy to walk all year round. English oaks, strawberry trees and broom are among the predominant vegetation along this circular route.

In summer, the Ondres Pelote Club presents two matches indoors on the wall to the left of the Complexe sportif Larrendart: Paleta cuir and Chistera Joko Garbi; beforehand, the club's young players give a demonstration.

In the vicinity of Ondres are Abbaye de Saint-Bernard-lès-Bayonne, a historic site; Citadelle de Bayonne, a fortress; Château Vieux de Bayonne, a fortress; and Rocher de la Vierge, a monument.
