The Courant d'Huchet nature reserve offers 15 kilometres of freely accessible discovery trails.

The Réserve Naturelle du Courant d'Huchet can be explored at the estuary near Moliets on guided walks or boat trips.

Activities

Golf de Moliets has an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones, including four links holes, as well as a 9-hole course.

Golf de Moliets is located in a forest beside the Atlantic Ocean.

Adrénaline Parc in Moliets offers 30 high-rope courses with 300 games. The park also includes seven children’s courses for children over five and under ten years old, or for children under 1.40 metres tall; they are adapted to their height and supervised by their parents.

The Vira&Vasa course opened on 21 June 2023 and is a fun, sporting and educational course for all audiences through Moliets-et-Mâa.

The C4 cycle route follows the Léon–Soustons cycle path through a pine forest to Moliets-et-Mâa.

The Circuit du ruisseau de la Prade et du swing is a hiking trail in Moliets approximately 12.6 kilometres long, with an average walking time of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Culture

The Chapelle Saint Laurent in Maâ stands on the site of a 12th-century Templar commandery that provided accommodation for pilgrims on the coastal route to Santiago de Compostela.

The Chapelle Saint Laurent has been restored; in July and August, free guided tours take place on Mondays at 11 a.m.

The Fontaine Saint Orens, also known as Pourrut de Maâ, has a washhouse on the road towards the Quartier de Maâ.

The C4 cycle route includes an out-and-back route to the Chapelle Saint-Laurent-de-Mâa.

Local area

A traditional seasonal market is held near Moliets beach from mid-June to mid-September on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
