The Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Ponson is protected in its entirety as a historic monument by decree of 22 April 2005. Its main construction phases date from the 12th, 17th and 18th centuries. Beneath the choir is a vaulted Romanesque chapel, probably a crypt.

The Église Saint-Roch is located in the centre of Carcen-Ponson next to the town hall. Its floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross; a single-nave church leads to a polygonal choir. The present building also preserves a multi-sided choir termination made of fitted sandstone, which may date from the 13th or 14th century.

The traditional bread oven “Four à pain traditionnel” is located at 1247 rte des pinsons in Carcen-Ponson and is waypoint 3 of the 12.VTT.2 circuit.
