Teuillac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Teuillac features a landscape of numerous hills. Small streams refresh and feed these elevations; at their foot, they gather into a very damp area. The vineyards of Teuillac belong to the AOC Côtes de Bourg. Those who choose Teuillac as a destination can opt to rent a holiday apartment.

Wine

Château Vieux Plantier offers daily tours from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Château Clef des Dames is open for tours by appointment. The 45-hectare vineyard of Château Haut-Launay lies in the two appellations of Côtes de Bourg and Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux. The vineyard is planted on calcareous clay soil and gravelly clay soil.

Culture

Prehistoric tools were discovered on Puybarbe Hill. The medieval lordship of Peychaud left Teuillac its Romanesque church. The century-old manor house of Château Peychaud stands on the site of an earlier noble residence; from its original buildings, it preserves a round dovecote with a gabled roof. An ostensorium donated by Louis Napoleon can still be seen in the Church of Saint Peter.

Events and Trails

Celti'Teuillac is a Celtic music festival held outdoors in the village of Teuillac on 3 and 4 July 2026, featuring several free concerts and dance performances. The Camping municipal de Teuillac is located in the town centre and in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg wine-growing region; it also provides information about local hiking trails.
