Culture and History

Saint-Aubin-de-Cadelech was founded around the 13th to 14th century by Benedictine monks who were subject to Saint Martial de Limoges Abbey. The church in Saint-Aubin-de-Cadelech was built on the site of a Benedictine priory.

The Château de Bardouly is a 16th-century château; its underground facilities were used during the Wars of Mancadou.
