Culture

The historic Diagonale d’Aquitaine crossed the Dronne via several fords in the vicinity of Petit-Bersac, upstream near Chaboin and downstream near Vigéraud. The Château du Mas de Montet preserves significant remains from the 15th and 16th centuries.

The Church of Saint Saturnin in Petit-Bersac is Romanesque and was extensively remodelled in the 19th century. It has a three-bay nave and a square bell tower. One of its bells has been listed as a protected object since 23 April 1979.

The Musée Gallo-Romain presents the history of the archaeological site of Cidène. Traditional craftsmanship is also part of the townscape: La Forge de Petit Bersac works with wrought iron, stainless steel and copper using traditional techniques and offers introductory courses in blacksmithing, knife-making and welding.

Nature and trails

The Boucle de Petit-Bersac is a 13.9 km circular trail starting in Petit-Bersac. It is also designated for mountain biking, historical themes and nature, including fauna and flora.

The Chemin H. Barker runs along the right bank of the Dronne through the Périgord in the area of Petit-Bersac.

At the Site de Montmalan, visitors can play boules, volleyball and table tennis.

Regional produce

During a visit to the Fraiserie-Rigaud farm, visitors can taste seasonal produce directly at the farm. In addition to grapevines, Fraiserie Rigaud grows strawberries using soilless cultivation under a glass greenhouse.
