Nature
There is an 8 km hiking trail in Mensignac. The starting point for the hiking trails is behind Mensignac Town Hall: with the town hall behind you, the church is on the left. After crossing departmental road 710, the path leads into a small lane.
Those who choose Mensignac for their trip may wish to rent a holiday apartment there.
The Les Grangiers orchards are considered particularly magnificent.
Culinary Traditions
The Fête du Pain in Mensignac was established in 1987. The baker Alain Boisseau organised a communal meal to mark the anniversary of the opening of his grocery store, which opened on 14 July 1986, and to celebrate the construction of a second bread oven in the bakery.
The Fête du Pain programme includes public events and free demonstrations, such as a fair, Landes cattle, a flea market and communal meals.
Boulangerie Boisseau offers free individual tasting visits. Guided tours of the bakery are only available by appointment. In its traditional bakery, Boulangerie Boisseau makes traditional sourdough country bread.
During the harvest, direct sales on site are possible at Vergers des Grangiers.
Culture
The Château de Mensignac, built around 1825, has become an administrative centre.
The church of Mensignac combines Romanesque and Gothic elements and has a single side chapel.
