Biron is distinguished by the Château de Biron, which represents a striking combination of history and landscape. The Château de Biron is classified as a historic monument and was the seat of one of the four baronies of Périgord. Its buildings were constructed and remodelled between the Middle Ages and the 18th century.
Culture
The Église Notre-Dame-de-Bourg also preserves characteristic details: it has a Romanesque portal, a choir with a hemispherical vault, and capitals decorated with leaves, figures and animals.
A more recent feature is the Monument aux vivants. It was created in 1994 as part of a public commission awarded to the German artist Jochen Gerz, in the form of an obelisk made of yellow Dordogne stone with enamel panels.

Nature and Wine
The Domaine de la Tuque is located in Biron on sunny slopes in the south of Périgord, amid a protected natural landscape, on a promontory opposite the Château de Biron. It is the only vineyard in the Monpazier area; old grape varieties originating from this terroir are being replanted there, and organic farming is practised.
The Domaine de la Tuque is open to visitors. Visitors can discover wines as well as the local fauna and flora.
Circular Routes and Announced Discoveries
The Boucle du Château is a 13.0 km circular route.
A historic and playful Tèrra-Aventura circular route through the village to the foot of the Château de Biron has been announced for Biron. It involves following smartphone-based puzzles and clues relating to the Poï’z character “Zétoulu”.
