The Base de loisirs de Rouffiac is located in a 100-hectare wooded park on the edge of one of the largest bodies of water in the Périgord.
The Base de loisirs de Rouffiac offers a water ski lift, sailing, climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, pedal boating, canoeing and kayaking, mountain biking, a zip line and an Accro-Park.
Rouffiac's Cable Park offers kneeboarding, water skiing and wakeboarding; professional instructors support participants of all levels.
Those travelling to Angoisse may wish to rent a holiday apartment there.
Trails
The Boucle du tour du Lac de Rouffiac is an easy hiking trail with a walking time of approximately two hours and a length of around seven kilometres around the lake in Angoisse.
Culture and History
The Église Saint-Martin in Angoisse combines Romanesque and Gothic styles and is built of granite. The oval barn of Échinlerie is a preserved example of historic rural architecture.
Angoisse is home to a remarkable old Tilleul de Sully. Its origins are said to be connected with a decision by Sully, Henry IV's minister and Grand Voyer de France, to have lime trees or elms planted in French villages in front of churches or in central squares.
