Nature
Moosch is one of the 188 municipalities in the Parc naturel régional des Ballons des Vosges and is part of the municipalities within the ZNIEFF Hautes Vosges haut-rhinoises.
The rock face of the Cascade du Bubalafels consists of volcanic rocks such as keratophyre and keratophyric tuff, or of volcanosedimentary rocks such as greywacke. The route there is signposted as an easy 45-minute circular hike. The Sentier des 4 collines offers numerous viewpoints and pleasant walks around Moosch.
The Étang des noisetiers offers anglers special experiences in a natural setting.
Culture
The Saint-Augustin parish church in Moosch was built between 1861 and 1862 and consecrated in 1864. It has a three-aisled nave; the nave and choir are covered with rib vaults.
Every year on 15 August, a large group of parishioners makes a procession up one of the four hills around Moosch, thereby fulfilling the vow made by the civil and religious authorities in 1916 to erect a votive monument dedicated to the Virgin Mary if the village were spared. The Colline du bûcher is associated with the tradition of burning the St John's fire.
La Mine à bouquins organizes exhibitions and conferences, as well as arts and crafts and painting workshops for children during the school holidays, depending on the season or the festivities. The facility has around 6,000 books.
The military cemetery is the resting place of 600 soldiers who were killed in the Vosges during the battles of the First World War, including General Serret.
Visiting
The Nécropole nationale de Moosch can be visited year-round on self-guided tours. The La Mésange shelter in the Moosch forest is open to the public.

The Auberge du Belacker can be reached from Moosch via forest roads; the route passes through Malmerspach and Mitzach and is 7 km long. Meals made with farm produce as well as traditional home cooking with various specialties are served there.
