The Circuit Notre Dame du Chêne begins behind Heimsbrunn Town Hall, directly next to the church. The Chapelle Notre-Dame du Chêne, also known as Ramahay, was built in 1959. It is located about 1 kilometre from the entrance to Heimsbrunn and can be reached via the D166. The circular trail runs through a landscape that is partly rural and partly wooded, in the last hills of the Sundgau.

Nature and Trails
From the chapel, the Chêne Saint Louis oak can be reached via a 200-metre round trip. The Circuit Notre Dame du Chêne passes a three-hundred-year-old oak with a circumference of 4.70 metres; the Chêne Saint Louis oak is thought to be between 300 and 700 years old. At the end of the wooded section stands a two-hundred-year-old silver willow with a circumference of 8.40 metres.
The Limberg Forest contains several remains of German dugouts from the First World War, dating from 1914 to 1918. The Chapelle Notre-Dame du Chêne remains associated with a pilgrimage tradition documented since the 19th century, particularly in connection with the Feast of the Assumption on 15 August.
Culture
The Church of Saint-Projet and Saint-Amarin in Heimsbrunn was built in 1768. In 1862, its bell tower was given a spire designed by the architect Jean-Baptiste Schacre, who came from Mulhouse. Its furnishings include a Callinet organ dating from the 1830s. The church ensemble also includes a monumental Calvary, an enclosed area and a cemetery.
Individual buildings on Rue de la Cure also preserve remarkable details. House no. 21 has original half-timbered sections from the 16th or 17th century. The half-timbered house at no. 11 has a rare central post extending from the base to the ridge of the roof and may date from the 15th century. The main building phase of the Maison aux Dîmes probably took place in the 18th century.
Heimslloween, a village festival in Heimsbrunn, is part of the local events calendar. An association promotes the festival and organises events for it. The Fête des Lentilles is scheduled to take place in Heimsbrunn in 2026 as an annual festival.
