The Château de Werde is located in the Woerth district of Matzenheim. Its construction is attributed to Sigebert III around 1185; since 19 August 1993, it has been partially listed as a historic monument. The Château de Werde and the Moulin de Werde lie in the arms of the Ill. The Moulin de Werde was rebuilt in 1575 by the nobles of Seebach.
The church of Matzenheim is dedicated to Saint Sigismund. The reliquary containing the skull of Saint Sigismund is located in the parish church of Saint-Sigismond in Matzenheim and was classified as a protected historic object in 1995.
The house at 3 route de Strasbourg in the Niederfeld district of Matzenheim is listed as a historic monument. Its lintel is dated 1624. The house is a half-timbered building with wattle-and-daub infill on a lath framework.
The main building and chapel of Collège Saint-Joseph in Matzenheim were built in 1869.
