Květná: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The roots of the Sklárna Květná glassworks date back to 1794. It is one of Moravia’s oldest continuously operating glassworks.

Culture and History

Sklárna Květná won Czech Grand Design 2025 in the “Manufacturer of the Year” category. According to its own information, the products of Sklárna Květná 1794 are made entirely by hand. The Sklárna Květná 1794 Museum documents the development of glassmaking from its beginnings to the present day. Visitors can observe traditional techniques of handcrafted glassmaking there. Nature and Trails

The Pramen U Cicůrku spring is a mountain spring in the Květná district of the municipality of Strání. The Květná educational trail is suitable for walkers and experienced cyclists and runs partly through forests and meadows. The Bestine and Velká Javořina mountains are located in the vicinity of Květná. The Dubina and Malá Javořina mountains are also located in the surroundings of Květná.

In the wider regional surroundings of Květná are the ruins of Čachtice Castle, Branč Castle [Podbranč], and Kaštieľ Sobotište. The U Kapliček Church is located in the vicinity of Květná.

Activities

The Strání–Květná outdoor swimming pool is located in Květná on Ořechová Street and, weather permitting, is open daily from 1 July to 31 August from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
