Dub u Komárova is an English oak (Quercus robur) with a trunk circumference of more than 435 centimetres. The approximately 24-metre-high English oak is a protected memorial tree in the Czech Republic. Here, an unusual natural feature combines with local history and a landscape that can be explored in different ways.

Marked trails for hiking and mountain biking

A yellow-marked hiking trail from Napajedla to Malenovice runs through the northern tip of the cadastral area of Komárov. In addition, the Stezky napajedelských emirátů trail network comprises around 70 km of marked routes and connects Napajedla with the surrounding municipalities, including Komárov. The figure of around 70 kilometres describes the entire network and provides a broader framework for planning a hike than the individual yellow-marked section.

The routes of Stezky napajedelských emirátů are intended for pedestrians and mountain bikers. Information boards along the trails point out sights. Chapel, church and places of remembrance

The Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua in Komárov belongs to the Pohořelice parish. Services are still held in the chapel today. Saint Anthony of Padua is thus associated both with the chapel and with the church built between 1937 and 1940. The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua was built between 1937 and 1940; its builder was Alois Dostál from Napajedla. Both local landmarks provide culturally interested visitors with a concrete point of reference for exploring Komárov.

The school building in Komárov also tells of different uses: it was built in 1886–1887 and now serves as a kindergarten. The building contains a memorial plaque bearing the names of two resistance fighters who were shot on 27 April 1945 at Kalvárie in Napajedla. Thus, visitors encounter not only religious buildings in the village, but also a place of remembrance with a direct connection to the history of the surrounding area.

Ponds in the Burava Valley and views of the Chřiby

Two fish-farming ponds in the valley of the Burava stream lie approximately 700 metres northwest of Komárov. One of them is Rybník Žlébek, the larger of the two ponds near Komárov in the valley of the Burava stream. It has a small island and measures approximately 110 × 60 metres. The ponds are lined with dense growth of willows and alders. Above Komárov, a viewpoint offers views of the Chřiby. The combination of ponds in the valley and the viewpoint above the village presents two different landscape perspectives side by side. The water surfaces lie in the Burava Valley; above Komárov, the view turns towards the Chřiby.
