The green-marked Cesta generála Svobody hiking trail runs through the cadastral area of Kojatín. It leads from Studenec railway station in the direction of Hroznatín and Třebíč.

Nature and Trails

Kojatín railway stop is located 1 km east of the settlement on line 252 between Studenec and Křižanov. Cycle route 5206 runs via Valdíkov, Kojatín and Spálený Dvůr to Budišov.

History and Culture

The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Kojatín dates from 1879. Kojatín is first mentioned in the founding charter of Třebíč Monastery from around 1104. After more than 200 years without settlement, Kojatín was rebuilt in 1712. Stone was quarried in the flooded Kojatín quarry during the construction of the Studenec–Velké Meziříčí railway line.
