Jitkov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The chapel in Jitkov is a niche chapel with a shingle roof. It is dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk and was built around 1870.

Culture and History

Jitkov Fortress was first explicitly mentioned in 1574. After 1693, it definitively lost its residential function; traces in the terrain remain, but it is not accessible. Jitkov is also located on the old so-called Bohdalov Road, which is described as one of the oldest branches of the Libice Way. Part of the former Jitkov manor house is a monumental Baroque building from the 17th century.
