Klášterec Nad Ohří: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Zámek a muzeum porcelánu is a neo-Gothic castle on the banks of the Ohře and the most important landmark of Klášterec nad Ohří. It houses a porcelain exhibition from the collections of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. In the castle grounds, the Sala terrena features sculptural works by Jan Brokof.

Culture

Zámecký park is a ten-hectare English landscape park with 150 tree species from around the world. In its northern part is the chapel complex Sedm bolestí Panny Marie.

Muzeum hodin houses antique clocks from a private collection, the oldest pieces of which date back to 1580; in 2014, it opened a permanent exhibition of antique clocks. Městská galerie Kryt presents contemporary Czech and international artworks in regular monthly exhibition cycles.

Water and Recreation

The aquapark on the outskirts of Klášterec nad Ohří is a seasonal facility with water attractions for children and adults. It has water slides measuring 28 m, 68 m and 128 m in length, children’s pools and a diving tower. During the summer season, the aquapark is open subject to weather conditions.

The Evženie spa complex includes a wellness area, a swimming pool, a whirlpool, infrared saunas, a salt cave and sports facilities.

Nature

In the vicinity of Klášterec nad Ohří and Kadaň lies Úhošť, a 114.5-hectare national nature reserve. Cesta z města is an educational trail that begins above Útočiště and follows the blue hiking trail markers towards Měděnec.

The tourist information centre of Klášterec nad Ohří is located beneath the town hall on the town square. Klášterecké oplatky can be purchased at the information centre in the spa complex.
