Sobotovická niva is an important landscape feature and a wetland on the banks of the Syrůvka and Šatava watercourses. Several rare plant and animal species are found in this landscape area.

Cycle path No. 5172 runs through the entire cadastral area of Sobotovice and leads from Tetčice to Židlochovice.
Culture and History
Poklona is a small niche chapel and a valuable example of late Baroque architecture from the first third of the 19th century. It stands on the road to Rajhrad. On the village square there is a memorial cross from 1782, made of stone and cast iron.
Community Life
The Municipality of Sobotovice organizes the Svatovavřinecké hody festival. It takes place every year in August in Sobotovice. Branný závod is a traditional run around Sobotovice.
