Kučerov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Kučerov is a place whose distinctive features can be seen in specific details: in its church, in a preserved Haná clay house, along marked cycling routes and in the landscape surrounding the village.

Culture and Local History

The present-day Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Kučerov was built between 1749 and 1758 to replace an older church that had been destroyed at another location.

A particularly characteristic building is House No. 12: a Haná-type clay house built predominantly from unfired bricks. It is also the only surviving house with a žudr in Kučerov. House No. 12 is open to the public and has been a national cultural monument since 2014.

A cultural-historical detail of the village can also be found on a cycling route: the Větrník Microregion cycling route lists Kučerov’s Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk as a point of interest along the route.
