Founded in 1894, the Muzeum středního Pootaví Strakonice is housed in Strakonice Castle, a national cultural monument. The museum has the largest collection of bagpipes in Central Europe. More than 100 musical instruments can be viewed in the exhibition at the Muzeum středního Pootaví Strakonice.
