Four original houses have been preserved in Maňava. In addition, Maňava is one of seven stops on the “Toulky Hornoplánskem” visitor route.
Nature
From Maňava, there is a view of the border mountains of the Smrčina Massif. Špićák is a mountain in the vicinity of Maňava. The mountains Smrčina [Horní Planá], Perník and Hochficht are also located in the vicinity of Maňava.
Walks
The 4.5-kilometre walk “Cestou na Maňávku” leads to the former settlement of Maňava and is considered suitable for families with pushchairs. It begins at the information centre in Horní Planá, follows a cycle path for approximately two kilometres to the “na Maňávce” turn-off and returns to Horní Planá along the same route.
Routes
The “Za výhledy na Lipno a do kraje” route runs through Horní Planá, Pernek, Maňava and Maňávka. Cycle Route 1254 runs through Maňava and is 15 kilometres long. The “S dětmi na Maňavu za výhledy” cycling tour is 24 kilometres long.

Chlumany is a historical site in the vicinity of Maňava. The Schiffler Chapel and Haslach Parish Church are churches in the wider regional surroundings of Maňava.
