Bousov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Bousov lies between Ronov nad Doubravou and Lipovec, on the western edge of the Železné hory Protected Landscape Area. The Kurvice stream flows through the village, while picturesque forests of the Iron Mountains stretch east of Bousov.

Landscape and Trails

A pond lies west of Bousov along the Kurvice stream. Numerous marked cycling and hiking trails lead through forests, meadows, ponds, fields, and small settlements in the Železné hory Protected Landscape Area. A marked local cycling route also runs through Bousov.

Culture

The Bousov Municipal Library is located in the municipality’s multifunctional building. There, it preserves historic books bearing the logo “Obecní knihovna Bousov” and cooperates with the district library in Chrudim through a circulating collection.

The Bousov Municipal Library organizes children’s drawing competitions. Traditional events with a florist are also held under its auspices.

Region

Bousov belongs to the Železné hory microregion. One of its best-known landmarks is the Lichnice Castle ruins.
