Partutovice is located in the Vítkov Highlands. The municipality describes the landscape as picturesque and almost untouched, as well as a recreational area.

Culture and History

The Maršálek Windmill (Maršálkův větrný mlýn) was built in 1837 as a wooden windmill of the German type. It is a national cultural monument and was entered in the state register of cultural monuments in 1958. The interior of the windmill can be visited by telephone appointment.

The present-day Baroque Church of St. Nicholas in Partutovice was built between 1786 and 1789 on the site of an older, small and badly dilapidated church. It contains Baroque organs. In 1802, the municipality of Partutovice also commissioned the construction of a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk.

Excursions and Summer Activities

The 4-kilometre excursion route “Across the Slate Quarry to the Wooden Mill” runs through Partutovice and continues to a wooden windmill. The excursion is suitable for cyclists and can also be taken by car. In summer, Partutovice offers tourists and cycling tourists numerous leisure opportunities. The regional route “In the Footsteps of the Use of Water and Wind Energy” leads to the Větrný mlýn v Partutovicích windmill.

Landscape and Nature

The Ludina stream rises in the marshes of the Bejchlovci forest and then flows into the Bečva.

The seasonal U Větrného mlýna kiosk offers refreshments, particularly to tourists and cycling tourists. Local transport connections in Partutovice are provided mainly by buses.
