Bílčice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Bílčice is a medium-sized agricultural municipality located on the right bank of the Moravice.

History and Monuments

Šternek Castle was first mentioned in 1397 and had already been abandoned by 1480. Its ruins are designated as an important archaeological site.

Bílčice was first mentioned in 1410, when Petr z Kravař and Plumlova transferred the village to the town of Dvorce. An Evangelical rectory is documented in Bílčice by 1569 at the latest. In the 1470s of the 15th century, Hungarian troops under King Matthias Corvinus plundered Bílčice during the Bohemian-Hungarian Wars. Since 3 May 1958, the Church of St Margaret and the cemetery enclosure wall in Bílčice have been protected as an immovable cultural monument.

Cycling Routes

Cycling Route 6152 ends in Bílčice; it begins in Dětřichov nad Bystřicí and runs via Panské Louky.

Cycling Route 6142 connects Slezská Harta with Štěrkovec and runs via Bílčice, Roudno, Nová Pláň, Valšov and Břidličná. It is 41.5 kilometres long and runs at elevations between 490 and 860 metres above sea level.

The 43.9-kilometre-long “Around the Slezská Harta dam” cycling route runs via Bílčice as well as Leskovec nad Moravicí, Roudno, Nová Pláň, Valšov and Mezina. It is classified as difficult and runs over asphalt and gravel surfaces.

Geographical Classification

A public bus route connects Bruntál, Razová, Bílčice and Moravský Beroun; the timetable is valid from 14 December 2025 to 12 December 2026.
