Nature and Elevations
Vápenný vrch is a nature reserve in the Jizera Mountains Protected Landscape Area. It protects geological formations exposed by centuries of mining carbonate rock and iron ores. Vápenný vrch can be reached via a walkable tourist trail; its two summits are at elevations of 418 and 423 metres.
Chlum is a 495-metre-high phonolite hill on the northern edge of the cadastral area of Raspenava. Chlum was home to the most important prehistoric settlement in the Frýdlant region.
Skála Zvon is a 550-metre-high rock in the Poledník Nature Reserve. The Česká spára ascent on Skála Zvon is classified as difficulty grade VIc.
Leisure and Trails
The Smědá leisure and sports complex in Raspenava includes an outdoor swimming pool; the complex also has a beach volleyball court.

Rybník Petr pond in the Peklo settlement near Raspenava is a natural bathing site. Its water is coloured by peat that has not been excavated.
In the vicinity of Raspenava, Lužec pod Smrkem railway station is recommended as the starting point for the walk to Rybník Petr.
The Bauer-Jusel Cross, also called Kříž sedláka Pepka, is a small sacred monument in the cadastral area of Raspenava. It stands on the Old Pilgrims’ Road, which connects the pilgrimage site of Hejnice with Oldřichovské sedlo and is marked with blue tourist signage.
The Raspenavské pochody take place every year on the first Saturday in May.
History and Architectural Heritage
The museum in the Upper Lusatian house in Raspenava presents traditional rural life, including crafts, agriculture and school lessons. The museum also contains a preserved black kitchen with a working bread oven. During museum events, farmhouse bread is baked in it.
The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Raspenava is a Neo-Baroque and Art Nouveau building dating from 1906–1907. It was built on the site of an older place of worship.
The Jäger Villa has particularly valuable preserved Art Nouveau interiors, which are among the earliest of their kind in North Bohemia.
