Radl: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Radl showcases its special features at natural, roadside and cultural sites. Within the built-up area of the municipality of Rádlo, the Přírodní památka Rádlo nature reserve covers an area of 3.5 hectares. It includes sedge marshes as well as adjacent waterlogged alder and birch stands; rare and endangered plant and animal species are protected there.

Paths through Rádlo

The approximately 7-kilometre-long Eldorádlo adventure trail is designed for pedestrians and cyclists and can be started at any location in Rádlo. It offers 12 themed rest and recreation stations. Eldorádlo also includes the Stezka Veverky Berty children's route, where children can solve playful tasks and complete a crossword puzzle.

Shorter and more focused on the village centre is the Naučná stezka Rádlo educational trail. The approximately 500-metre-long path leads through the centre of the municipality of Rádlo and includes seven stations covering botany, ecology and zoology.

Village Square and Churches

Rádlo village square is home to the Getsemanská zahrada, a protected ensemble of sandstone sculptures immediately next to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity. The church is a landmark of the village square. The present-day Neo-Baroque church was built in 1931 according to a design by Jablonec architect Karel Rössler and extended in 1948. At the end of 2014, replicas of the sculptures from the Getsemanská zahrada were ceremonially unveiled on the village square next to the church.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows, also known as Sedmibolestné, stands in the settlement of Milíře. It is the oldest surviving monument in this part of Rádlo. As a fully restored, protected sandstone chapel, it stands at a crossroads of hiking trails near the Císařský kámen lookout tower and is a popular stop for visitors from the surrounding area.

The mountains of Maršovicky vrch, Černá Studnice, Ještěd and Pustina are located around Rádlo. In the wider regional surroundings of Rádlo, Valdštejn and Kaple Nejsvětější Trojice are churches.
