Stolín is part of a blue-marked hiking trail: it runs from Červená Hora via Mstětín and Stolín to U Dupačky and is 14.5 km long in total.
Nature and trails
There are numerous small waterfalls and rapids on the Stolínský potok. Near the Boušín footbridge over the Úpa is a former manor forester’s lodge dating from 1876. The Stolínský potok flows into the Úpa at this former forester’s lodge.

Mount Čáp is located in the vicinity of Stolín. The wider regional surroundings of Stolín also include the mountains Lelkowa Góra, Krucza Kopa and Czarna Kopa.
Village character and culture
The Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity stands in the middle of Stolín’s village green, on the eastern side of the main road. Next to house no. 70 and the fire station is a monument to those who fell in the First World War, dating from 1936 and created by the sculptor and stonemason Josef Řezníček from Mezilečí. There is also a stone cross on the village green.
A statue of Saint John of Nepomuk stands by a water reservoir in Stolín. The “Lípa Svobody” was planted in 1919. The wider regional surroundings of Stolín include Ścinawka Górna Castle - Renesansowy dwór, Opactwo Cysterskie w Krzeszowie Monastery and the Lázně Church.
