Culture
The village is home to the late Gothic single-nave Church of St James and St Andrew, first mentioned in 1358. In front of the church there is an information board about the “In the Footsteps of Karel Jaromír Erben” educational trail. The centre of Červená Třemešná is also home to a sandstone statue of Saint Wenceslas, a monument of local significance. The Church of Lázně is located in the wider surrounding region.

The 14 km-long “In the Footsteps of Karel Jaromír Erben” educational trail leads from Miletín via Červená Třemešná, Vrbiny, Byšičky, the Rybník Hluboký and Nadýmák ponds, Vlkanov and Miletínek back to Miletín. Marked cycle route No. 4135 runs along a route of approximately 35 km from Mostek via Pecka Castle, Vřesník, Lázně Bělohrad and Byšičky through Červená Třemešná and U Jeníkova to Boháňka.
Nature
Červená Třemešná – rybník is a 9.41-hectare natural monument and a protected body of water of supra-regional importance for amphibians, particularly for populations of the great crested newt (Triturus cristatus) and the fire-bellied toad (Bombina bombina).

Maxinec (MLázovický chlum) is a mountain in the vicinity of Červená Třemešná. (Hořický) Chlum and Vinice [Bílé Poličany] are hills in the vicinity of Červená Třemešná. Krušina [Lukavec u H.] is a hill in the immediate vicinity of Červená Třemešná.
Transport
On weekdays, buses operated by the Integrated Regional Transport systems of the Královéhradecký and Pardubický regions (IREDO) connect the Červená Třemešná area with Miletín, Hořice and Dvůr Králové nad Labem. There is no rail service in the Červená Třemešná area. The nearest railway station is outside the area in Hořice, approximately 5 km south of the area, on line No. 041 from Turnov via Jičín and Ostroměř to Hradec Králové.
