One striking historical feature of Suchdol is the Renaissance reconstruction of the castle. It is considered the first known Renaissance expression in the wider area around Kolín.

The Church of St. Margaret in Suchdol has an Early Gothic core dating from the second half of the 13th century. It contains a bell made by Kutná Hora bell founder Jakub Ptáček in 1512 or 1522, which was recast in 1883 by the Brno bell founder Weber.

In Vysoká, the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary was built in the last third of the 13th century. In 2020, wall paintings from three periods were uncovered in the chancel.

The Belveder ruins in Vysoká bring together, in one area, a pleasure building, a chapel, a hermitage, and a venue for lavish Baroque celebrations.

In Solopysky, the Church of St. Bartholomew was built shortly before 1352. The tower and part of the west façade survive from the original church. The nave and chancel are covered with rich frescoes from 1752 depicting the legend of Saint Bartholomew.
