Culture

The Catholic Church of St. Wenceslas in Pečky dates from 1913 and is a Neo-Romanesque building with a wooden-beam ceiling and Art Nouveau furnishings. Construction of the Protestant Church of Master Jan Hus in Pečky began on 16 May 1914; the first services were held on 2 February 1916. The complex of the Protestant Church of Master Jan Hus is a unique testament to early Cubism.

“Do pohádky” is an experience route through Pečky prepared by the city’s cultural centre. Along the route, visitors can follow the legends and fairy tales of Pečky. It was offered from 30 June 2021 until further notice.
