Culture and history

The Nebovidská tvrz was probably built in the second half of the 14th century and documents the character of a rural seat of the lower nobility at the beginning of the early modern period. Nebovidská tvrz is a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The Church of St. Peter and Paul in Nebovidy was built between 1749 and 1758 to replace an older destroyed church, based on a design by the Baroque architect Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer. It is a single-nave building with a narrower presbytery, two sacristies and a prismatic western tower. The church grounds are enclosed by a stone perimeter wall with a gate and a wicket gate.

The remains of the upper Okrouhlá fortress in Nebovidy are located on private property; the cellar cannot be entered.

The Nebovidy Venus is a rare Neolithic female clay torso. It was found near Nebovidy and is now part of the archaeological collections of the Regional Museum of Kolín.

Landscape

Polepský vrch [Kolín], Kaňk and Skála [Kbel u Ratboře] are named hills in the vicinity of Nebovidy.

Kačina Chateau is a castle in the vicinity of Nebovidy. Hořánck, a named mountain, is also located nearby.
