Ledčice: Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Church of St. Václav in Ledčice is a state-protected cultural monument. The present-day church was built in the Late Baroque style between 1737 and 1752.

Culture and History

The U Cinků Cultural and Community Centre in Ledčice houses a permanent exhibition called “Rural Life” about life in the countryside. The grounds of the recently heritage-preserved renovated U Cinků farm also hosted the Days of Folk Architecture of Central Bohemia.

Near Ledčice lies Ostrov Chateau. Svatý Jiří is a church in the vicinity of Ledčice. In the wider region are Hazmburk, a ruin, and Stará kanalizační čistírna Praha-Bubeneč, a museum.

Activities

HistoryPark Ledčice is a family-friendly outdoor attraction. Children can carry out excavations, search with a metal detector, explore an interactive 3D sandbox model and complete playful activity stations. HistoryPark Ledčice has outdoor and covered stations; in rainy weather, activities can be adapted or moved under cover.

Nature and Exercise

The Praotec Čech educational trail begins on the northwestern edge of Ledčice. It ends on a restored farm track between Ledčice and Mnetěš and has nine stations where information boards present the content. The trail presents the landscape around Ledčice and below Říp through its fauna, flora, history and agriculture. It is suitable for visits year-round.

U Pískoven [Černuc-Nabdín], Na Vrších [Cítov] and (Pod Lady) [Přestavlky u Roudnice nad Labem] are hills in the vicinity of Ledčice. Nedvězí [Dubá-Dražejov] is a mountain in the wider region of Ledčice.
