Kladruby U Vlašimi: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Kladruby u Vlašimi is associated with specific historical sites: on the village green stands a chapel dedicated to Saint Wenceslas, which was built in 1895 on the site of an older chapel. Next to it stand a stone bearing the years 1405–2005 and a cross from 1887.

Culture and History

At the foot of Kladrubská hůra, also known as Kostelík, there once stood a wooden church dedicated to Jan Hus. The wooden church on Kladrubská hůra was demolished in 1627; only the name of the hill remains.

The Kladruby Rehabilitation Institute is located in the preserved Podblanicko natural area on the edge of the Vlašim Basin, near Kladruby. Wheelchair routes operated by the Czech Tourist Club run through its grounds and the surrounding area. These routes can also be used for walks with a stroller. In Kladruby u Vlašimi, the red wheelchair route “Around the Rehabilitation Institute” operated by the Czech Tourist Club is listed as being 4.6 km long.

Since August 2, 2026, direct bus route 402 has connected the “Kladruby, rehab. ústav” stop with Prague several times a day, including at weekends.
