Černíky: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In the centre of Černíky, the Chapel of Saint Wenceslas stands next to a small pond. It is located on the green area of the village square. The Chapel of Saint Wenceslas in Černíky is a Baroque sacred building dating from 1760, built at the expense of the farmer Václav Kadeřávek. The protected monument comprises the chapel and the associated land.

At Černíky No. 1, the farm building features a collection of late Gothic surrounds for door and window openings on its courtyard façade.

Landscape

The Kounice–Černíky locality is registered by the Czech Geological Survey as a site of geological interest in the cadastral area of Černíky. It is an abandoned wall quarry in clay shales and siltstones of the Štěchovice Group of the Barrandian Neoproterozoic.

Despite later structural changes, Černíky has preserved the scale and character of a typical village in the Elbe Lowland; the relationship between the built environment and the surrounding cultural landscape remains clearly discernible.

Cycling

The Kounická šlapka cycling race passes through Černíky. The programme includes a children's race before the adult race.
