Coast and Landscape

The Zatoglav–Ražanj coastal promenade follows the coastline to Ražanj and circles the Bay of Ražanj. Otočić Planka, Rogoznica, Otočić Smokvica Vela and Otočić Smokvica Mala are located in the vicinity of Ražanj. Ražanj Varoš Beach lies in a secluded bay.

Hiking and History

The hiking trail to Mount Movar begins in Ražanj. The trail also includes sections involving scrambling over rocky terrain. Its second section is physically and technically demanding, particularly during the summer months.

A French fort dating from 1860 stands on Movar Hill. The wider regional area around Ražanj is also home to Sveti Nikola, Fort Saint Nicholas, Barone Fortress and Fort Saint Michael.

The coastal area around Rogoznica and neighbouring Ražanj is associated with nautical, coastal and maritime tourism. This includes sailing around Cape Planka as well as scuba diving or swimming in bays and at beaches.

Cycling

The Putem Diomeda cycling route leads downhill towards Ražanj and follows the coast after the descent.
