Landscape
The surrounding area of Podorljak includes Rogoznica, the islet of Otočić Kosmač Mali, the Vilaja Planina mountain range and the islet of Otočić Arkanđel. In the wider regional area are Sveti Nikola, Barone Fortress, Fort Saint Nicholas and Fort Saint Michael.
Cycling Routes
The Blue Track is an almost 50-kilometre route around most of the municipality of Rogoznica. On its section through the hinterland of Rogoznica, it passes through Podorljak. The route runs past dry-stone walls, olive groves, vineyards, stone votive chapels and abandoned houses with stone roofs.
The Green Track climbs from Stupin Čeline via Mocira and Mahala and then descends to Podorljak. From there, it continues with a climb and a steep descent towards Svinca. The Green Track also crosses the Adriatic road and returns to Podorljak through fields.
The route across the Hyllis Peninsula runs from Marina via Dvornica and Podorljak to Svinica and then back to Marina. Between Dvornica and Podorljak, it uses narrow roads with no traffic. The route can be ridden with trekking, gravel or mountain bikes.
