Luka Krmpotska: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Luka Krmpotska is the starting point of the Green Trail and the Heavenly Trail. The Green Trail leads over the mountain peaks of Rujnik, Sitovnik, Zagradski vrh and Kanculova glava towards Medviđak. The Heavenly Trail also leads towards Medviđak, via the highest peaks in the area, and includes the highest mountain peaks in the region.
Hiking and trails
The 45-kilometre-long Green Trail begins in Luka Krmpotska next to a hunting lodge at an altitude of 750 metres and ends in Medviđak at 1,027 metres.
The Nebeski labirinti hiking route forms a loop from Luka Krmpotska via Omar, a stone cistern, the labyrinths and Vela Sviba, returning to Luka Krmpotska.
The Bater–Krasno Polje cycling route also passes through Luka Krmpotska at kilometre 11.

Landscape and views
The initial section of the Green Trail runs across mountain meadows with views of the sea, the islands of Kvarner Bay and Mount Velebit.
The Sviba viewpoint is located on mountain meadows below the grassy slopes of Mala Sviba and Velika Sviba. It is situated on a road near the village of Luka Krmpotska and offers views of the mountainous hinterland, the inland villages, Kvarner Bay, Velebit and Učka.
Culture and architecture
The Glass Chapel (Staklena kapelica) in Omar stands immediately next to the hunting lodge at the beginning of the Green Trail. It is built entirely from a metal framework, glass façades and a glass roof, and features stylistic elements of Art Nouveau.
According to local tradition, the commissioning of the Glass Chapel in the early 20th century was attributed to Petar Krpan, who was known as Samac. The Glass Chapel in Omar is considered a rare monument of religious and architectural heritage.
