Culture
The Church of Our Lady of Good Health in Hreljići serves as the church for Belavići. It is a Marian pilgrimage site, was built in 1726, and a procession takes place there every year on the second Sunday in October.
A local legend is associated with Belavići: following a conflict between two ships, the crown of King Tomislav and his royal insignia are said to have been hidden in Blaz Bay. Whether they actually exist there and where exactly they might be located is unknown.

History
In the immediate vicinity of Belavići, the old Rakalj contains the remains of a prehistoric fortress, an ancient fortress and a medieval castle. The memorial and ethnographic collection in the birthplace of Mijo Mirković presents his life, his literary work, the Istrian heritage and the pottery tradition there.
The 15th-century Church of St Agnes in old Rakalj, which lies in the immediate vicinity of Belavići, overlooks Raša Bay and the Kvarner Islands.
