Culture

The small single-nave Church of St. Flor in Loborika contains a pre-Romanesque relief of an angel, a wooden altar with St. Flor and Francis of Assisi, as well as a silver processional cross. Its stone façade has a rose window and two bell openings, one of which dates from 1478.

The remains of a former Roman road in Loborika are identified as a branch of the Flavian Road, which connected the ancient settlements of Gallicianum and Nesactium with the port of Budava.

The House of Cycling presents the village’s cycling history through photographs, medals and trophies. The museum can be visited year-round free of charge; it is regularly open on Sundays, and additional visits are possible by appointment.

Nature

The area around Loborika includes oak forests, fields, olive groves and vineyards, as well as a large chestnut forest beside the cemetery, which is described as one of the largest in Istria.

The ponds Lokva and the smaller Lakuć are located near Loborika’s main county road and are described as places to visit and linger on benches.
