Part of Učka Nature Park lies within the municipality of Lupoglav. The Lupoglav–Planik hiking trail runs through Učka Nature Park. Hiking trails lead from Lupoglav toward Vojak, the highest peak of Učka.

The “Lupogliano Mahrenfels” route begins in Lupoglav, passes through Semić and Kras, and returns to Lupoglav. The route includes a viewpoint above Semić on the edge of a limestone cliff. One of the route’s viewpoints looks toward Učka and Lupoglav. The route also passes the remains of Mahrenfels Castle.
Sokolić and Gradac are mountains in the immediate vicinity of Lupoglav. Veliki Planik mountain and the Mali Planik peak are located approximately in the surrounding area of Lupoglav.
Culture
The “Church of Blessed Augustine Kažotić” in Lupoglav is a protected cultural asset (Z-1879). The “Maiden With The Seagull” monument, featuring a statue created by Zvonko Car, is located approximately in the wider regional area surrounding Lupoglav. The churches of “Svi Sveti” and “Sveti Frančisk” are each located approximately in the surrounding area of Lupoglav. “Trsatska Gradina” Castle is located approximately in the wider regional area surrounding Lupoglav.
Connections
Lupoglav has road connections linking Istria with the rest of Croatia, as well as a railway junction on the Pula–Ljubljana line.
