Boljun: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Aurania Trail connects the former watch post near Vranja with Boljun Castle. When planning a stay in Boljun, some travelers also have to decide whether to rent a holiday apartment.
Trails and Springs
The Studenac and Perila springs are located on the Aurania Trail between Boljun and Vranja and are considered cultural heritage sites. The trail also passes the Boljunska konoba.

Straževica is located in the immediate vicinity of Boljun. Plas, Vojak, and Jazvina are situated in the surrounding area. Vela Draga is located on Učka, a protected geomorphological site with an educational trail slightly more than two kilometers long, limestone towers 50 to 90 meters high, and information about climbing.
Culture and History
The Učka–Vranja–Boljun–Paz–Pazin road was built in the 18th century and is known as the Istrian Jozefina. Boljun’s bell tower is considered one of the oldest in Istria due to a Latin inscription from 1645.
“Maiden With The Seagull,” a statue by Zvonko Car, is located in the area surrounding Boljun. Sveti Frančisk is also located there. Trsatska Gradina is located in the wider regional area, while the Župna crkva Navještenja Blažene Djevice Marije is situated in the vicinity of Boljun.
In 2023, the 17th edition of the traditional music gathering “Zasopimo i zakantajmo po stare užance” took place at Boljun Castle.
