Nature and Landscape

The “Water Route” runs above the Korana Canyon between Old Town Drežnik and Korana Campsite. It includes viewpoints overlooking the Korana Canyon and is a 4.5-kilometre educational trail with earthen and gravel surfaces.

The Mlinica Trail can be reached from Čatrnja and offers a walk along the canyon of the Korana River. The Rakovica Tourist Board has provided information boards and signposts for the Mlinica Trail.

Routes and Activities

Čatrnja lies on the R35 Selište Drežničko–Čatrnja–Irinovac cycling route. The route is 27.9 kilometres long and has 102 metres of elevation gain; from the centre of Čatrnja, it continues towards Drežnik Grad.

The R35 access to Čatrnja uses the D1 state road, a footpath, paved sections and shorter gravel sections. The route is described as rather demanding and requires good fitness as well as a steady pace.
