Momchilovtsi: Vacation Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Church of St. Constantine and Helena in Momchilovtsi was built in 1836. The local history museum houses more than 3,000 exhibits and has departments for archaeology, the Bulgarian National Revival, and ethnography. The small art gallery in Momchilovtsi presents works by classical and contemporary Bulgarian artists.
The DANO Center operates in the reconstructed former school building in Momchilovtsi. It promotes the cultural and historical as well as natural features of the Rhodopes. The local tourist offering also includes lessons in Bulgarian folk songs and dances. Characteristic folklore, traditions, crafts, and Christian religious customs have been preserved in Momchilovtsi.
