Nature

Baths and History
The Old Mineral Bath opened in 1910, was Bulgaria’s first mineral bath, and was built in the style of the baths in Baden-Baden. The New Mineral Bath opened in 1930 and is still in operation today.
The Bath Casino was built in 1922 and is known as the Royal Casino. The History Museum – Varshets comprises four departments covering antiquity, archaeological finds and coins, balneology, and ethnography.
Excursions
Near Varshets lies Zeleni del, 10 km southwest of the town. The site is a starting point for climbing Todorini Kukli and is suitable for picnics, excursions, and camping.

The Varshets Tourist Information Centre provides information about sports, balneotherapy, tourism, and entertainment. It also offers bicycles, tents, and fishing rods for hire, as well as mountain guides for hire.
