The Carthusian monastery funded a school that operated intermittently from 1786 until the Byaroza Charterhouse was closed in 1831.

At the beginning of the 19th century, the library of the Carthusian monastery of Byaroza was considered the largest in the Grodno Governorate; in 1831, it contained 2,510 books and manuscripts.

The Carthusian monastery of Byaroza was the order's only establishment in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

The Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Byaroza was built in 1775 as a single-domed cemetery church.
