Gozhdarazhde: Gramoz Glacier Lake and Nature Reserve
Gozhdarazhde draws attention to Gramoz Glacier Lake. It lies at an altitude of around 2,400 metres, is of glacial origin and is fed mainly by snowmelt and precipitation.
When choosing a holiday apartment in Gozhdarazhde, travel dates, room category and cancellation conditions can set different priorities for personal planning. For a stay in which Gramoz Glacier Lake plays a role, these details can be considered separately from planning excursions. This keeps the accommodation decision limited to its own characteristics, while nature, culture and activity stand alongside one another as separate topics.
Culture
At the entrance to the village of Barmash stands Saint Mary Church. According to its inscription, it was painted in 1616. The church is an example of a distinctive post-Byzantine architectural type and consists of a nave, a narthex and a porch.
Nature
The Gërmenj-Shelegur Managed Nature Reserve is a transboundary area with mountains, deep valleys, wetlands, fast-flowing streams and dense forests of fir, oak and black pine.
The reserve is considered a destination for long hikes, camping and picnics. The surroundings of Barmash offer opportunities for hiking, exploring nature and observing the species-rich flora and fauna of Kolonjë.
A specimen of the longhorn beetle Agapanthia (s. str.) cardui (Linnaeus, 1767) was recorded in the Korçë District near Gozhdarazhde, close to Gërmenj, at an altitude of 990 metres on 23 May 2016.
You can organise the nature-related subjects according to the desired perspective: at one point, landforms take centre stage; at another, exploring the surroundings; and at another, observing individual species. These approaches can be considered independently of one another.

Activities
A frequently used route to Gramoz Glacier Lake leads from Ersekë via the village of Starjë. Due to the altitude and mountainous terrain, physical preparation and suitable equipment are required.
A road-cycling route from Qendër Leskovik to Korçë passes through Gozhdarazhdë, Ersekë and Mollas. The two routes therefore differ in terms of means of transport, starting point and course.
During a picnic in the Gozhdarazhdë quarter near the turn-off to Sanjollas, a small, brand-new chapel with around twelve chairs arranged around a large carpet and an opening leading to the altar provided shelter.
The Gozhdarazhd campsite has space for two small motorhomes.
For your planning, you can deliberately place the topics side by side: culture, landscape, nature observation and activity represent different priorities. Among the activities, the range extends from hiking and exploring nature through camping and picnicking to road cycling. These forms can be considered independently of one another, without presupposing a fixed order or a single tour.
You can also distinguish the routes by type: a hiking route, a road-cycling route and a drive through several places. This keeps different types of activity separately readable when choosing your personal travel pace.
One drive passes through Selenicë, Ersekë, Borovë and Barmash to the desired destination.
