Harbor, Lighthouse and History
Kewaunee Marina is a full-service marina in a deepwater harbor with direct access from Lake Michigan. Breakwaters and the offshore Hathaway Landing protect the harbor. The marina offers seasonal and daily slips and also operates a campground with 36 sites providing electricity and water. This information is particularly interesting if you are planning a harbor-focused stay or want to compare different forms of travel.
One of the notable historic destinations is the Tug Ludington. The “Major Wilbur Fr. Browder/Tug Ludington” was added to the National Register of Historic Places and the State Register of Historic Places of Wisconsin on March 28, 2002. Since July 13, 2026, it has been open to the public for tours. The Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse is also listed on the historic registers of the United States and the State of Wisconsin. Volunteers occasionally open the lighthouse during the year.
The Kewaunee County Historical Society Jail Museum features historic rooms, jail cells and various historic artifacts. Dana Farm is the childhood home of Ransom Asa Moore, who is described as one of the founders of Wisconsin 4-H. Together with the Tug Ludington and the lighthouse, this creates a historical area of interest that differs from the natural and harbor attractions.

The range of activities remains varied in winter as well. The ski and snowboard hill at Winter Park has five runs and a beginner hill. The tubing hill has five runs, each approximately 450 feet long, with a vertical drop of 70 feet.
