A Special Experience for Children

The annual Klineline Kids Fishing Event is a special experience for children. More than 3,000 children between the ages of 5 and 14 take part. In addition, about 500 people with special needs participate in the event; their parents also attend. Every registered participant receives a free Zebco fishing rod and reel, bait, and an event T-shirt and can learn about and practice fishing. More than 300 volunteers set up the rods, bait the hooks, assist with casting, clean the catch, and provide educational and entertainment activities for children.
